The Robinson Gardens in Beverly Hills opens its doors to Salastina for an Alice in Wonderland-themed High Tea. The venue's exterior boasts a large black-and-white checkerboard floor; terraced, Italianate, and palm gardens; boxwood hedges; roses galore; and quirky signage. The inside features an incredible tea room, library, and music salon. It’s the perfect place to bring Lewis Carroll’s famed tale to life. Our Sounds Delicious team, including Chef Becky Brown and Experience Designer Mercedes Curran, lend their talents to this immersive, playful, delightfully whimsical event in partnership with the Virgina Robinson Gardens. Don’t miss this perfect way to kick off the summer and close out Salastina’s 15th Anniversary Season.
For the high tea-style service, each table will have a tiered tray consisting of several bite-sized items. The savory offerings will be lamb lollipops, falafel bites, and smoked salmon croquettes. The sweet course will be a spread of jam filled beignets, mini Meyer lemon Bundt cakes, and fruit tarts*.
On the musical program: The Jabberwocky Song, Cherry Ripe by Frank Bridge, Romance in G minor by Arthur Sullivan, Late Swallows by Frederick Delius, and an original medley of songs from the 1951 classic animated film adaptation.
