Miss Manners (she/her/hers)

When it comes to etiquette, the digital space is the Wild West.
Far be it from us to dictate how others should enjoy themselves,
or how they should or shouldn’t connect during an isolating time.

Here are some fairly obvious Zoom ground rules:

  1. No shirt, no service! Dress (or not… ) however you like — so long as your video camera is off. If your video camera is on and you are not dressed appropriately, we can — and will — use our almighty Zoom host powers to remove you from the event. And yes: this rule still applies when your musical celebrity crush is appearing, if you’ve been working out lately, et cetera.

  2. Wanna chat? Kindly keep your comments relevant to the group as a whole. If you have a question for us or our guest artist, please ask it once. Spamming us all with your question does not increase the likelihood of it being asked.

  3. If the chat box isn’t your thing, feel free to mute it. Learn how to do so on the device of your choice here.
