Isaac Silva

Isaac Stephan Silva Uría is a music composer from Ecuador. He started playing piano as a child. In 2022, Isaac finished his MFA in Film Music Composition at UNCSA under the mentorship of Dr. Chris Heckman. During these years, he scored the music for short films that have been premiered in festivals throughout the United States. His own compositions have also been performed around the world.

Now, he is researching the Ecuadorian rhythms and merging them with his music, involving its interaction within the community. He also advocates for a better educational system for the newer generations of Ecuador.
